About Limehouse Basin

Limehouse Basin is carried out over three separate contracts – Limehouse Basin, Limehouse Lock and Ropemakers Wharf

The overall regeneration includes 166 mixed-tenure residential apartments within five new blocks, on a challenging site bordered by the A13, the Regents Canal & The DLR, with a proposed Crossrail tunnel underneath.

The first project, Limehouse Basin, includes 102 private  apartments and commercial units on the ground floor. The two levels of car parking have 82 spaces for British Waterways, which manages the marina directly adjacent to the buildings.

Limehouse Lock is a mixed-tenure development of 32 apartments, 2 town houses and a commercial space.

Ropemakers Wharf was constructed next to Limehouse Basin and a DLR viaduct, the project includes 16 private residential apartments and 16 affordable apartments within three blocks of up to 9-storeys.
